Chris CarrionThe EDSA and Beyond Photo Exhibit of professional photographer Sonny Camarillo Which has been held every month of February during the commemoration of the EDSA 1986 Peaceful, Prayerful, People Power Revolution and sponsored by the Spirit of EDSA Foundation, Inc., has been done for the past thirteen years. It captured the actual activities involving EDSA-1 starting with the death of our beloved EDSA hero- Ninoy, the funeral, the rallies that followed, the actual coverage of that four-day shining moments in our countrys history (February 22-25, 1986), the swearing in of our Icon of the Democracy, the late President Cory, up to the funeral of President Cory.

Sonny Camarillos pictures is truly history in the making captured in photos considered valuable information for our young generation in knowing what transpired for our country in regaining its moral values, truth, Justice, and Democracy.

Past President camera club of the Philippines, Press Photographers of the Phils. Former official photographer during 70s 80s of all major beauty pageants like Bb Pilipinas, Mutya ng Pilipinas, Ms Asia, Ms Phils, Faces, Elite Model, Look of the Year, Bodyshots, etc. Partipants of local and international photo exhibits, judge in many beauty and photo contests. Works published in books, magazines, newspapers, journal here and abroad. One man show on EDSA people power, 1987-2011: recipient of numerous citations and recognition and awards. 1995 Gabriela Silang Awards as Most Outstnding Citizen of Santa Ilocos Sur in Photojournalism; Selected as one among the 1000 Who's Who in the Asean Region in 2000: Gintong Ama awardee 2002.
