Chris CarrionMARGIE P. JUICO, She was the Appointments Secretary to our beloved Icon of Democracy, the late former President Corazon C. Aquino from July 1987 until June 30, 1992. Prior to this appointment she had been Assistant Appointment Secretary. After the tenure of President Aquino, Margie was kept as assistant in the Benigno S. Aquino, Jr. Foundation.

She also served for 11 years on the Board of Directors of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office and is at present the current Chairperson. A member of the Bigay Puso, an association of spouses of members of President Cory's cabinet engaged in disaster-relief work. First Vice President of the Quezon City Associated Ladies Foundation, a socio-civic group, and chairperson of Tahanan ng Panginoon, an outreach program for the poor of the Catholic Charismatic Community Ligaya ng Panginoon. She was also a member of the fund-raising campaign of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines and a member of the Ephpheta Foundation, which helps the blind. She was also a Commissioner of the EDSA People Power Commission from November 1999 up to 2002.

A Liberal Arts degree graduate in 1971 and a dyed-in-the-wool Theresian, having acquired all her grade-school, high-school, and college education from St. Theresa's College.
